The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR635 with the components described below has been awarded the status of certified for Ubuntu.
AMD EPYC 2nd Generation CPUs (Rome) are only partially supported by Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with the GA 4.15 kernel. Full support for all EPYC 2nd Generation features is included in the 18.04 HWE kernel (5.0 or later). If you experience problems with workloads on systems using these CPUs, you will need to upgrade to the current 18.04 LTS HWE kernel using the "bionic (hwe-18.04) kernel in MAAS, or by installing the "linux-image-generic-hwe-18.04" package directly.
